What a way to start the week, and end the weekend.
I got to photograph the ever so delicious family, that have now been able to meet their new little man.
We didn’t get long to play but the time we had was wonderful!
Oh I love newborns, they are a real challenge at times – but so very worth the effort. It is such a short window of time that their little bum fits perfectly into their Dad’s hand. Each, and every time I photograph a baby my heart aches a little (matching my uterus LOL).
Thanks beautiful M family, you are a great and loving family! Congratulations.

Things have been quite in here, and I apologise. I have had a few wonderful sessions that aren’t yet blogged.

Big changes are going to be happening between now and *fingers crossed* Christmas. We are moving this weekend, into another home whilst we build a new home. And a new STUDIO!!!! A new studio, still working from home. This will allow myself to continue being at home for my lovely little girls, but have a set up space that allows me to do some studio sessions. When it comes to maternity (if indoors), newborns and a few quick shots to update the family photographs (instead of a whole session) it can be hard when you don’t have a studio set up. It is also very time consuming setting up at a clients house and therefore harder on the business.

I am really looking forward to shooting precious clients in my new space, and I am sure the inconvenience all round will be worth it in the end.

In the meantime I am asking for a lot of patience, while we are moving and getting settled again. I will be off line for a few days and therefore some emails might take longer then normal to reply to. Please call the mobile if you needed anything asap. The home number will be redirected, but out of action for a day or two.

To my local followers enjoy the show ;)

Last week we were in Port Vila, Vanuatu. We went for a holiday, you know how it is? You stay at a resort, eat too much, drink too much and live it up.
Not this time. We were in Vanuatu to learn new things as a family, to experience life there for local people.

I won’t go into the details for now, but please keep an eye on the blog to see how YOU can make a difference to a little person’s life. Get a warm fuzzy!

Sunday saw my Dad celebrate a special birthday. So what better to do with a train buff then go on the Valley Rattler? It was a really great day out. We headed from Gympie to Imbil, had some lunch and headed back (there were stops for morning and afternoon tea also). My Dad has been on trains all over the world – see he is a big time train fan!!

How amazing is it to be able to spend time with your family, enjoying the company and having many laughs? All the while taking in some wonderful scenery and seeing new things along the way. *sigh* it was awesome!

Dion and Teneale have been awaiting this amazing day for some time now (as have I – so exciting to be part of a one in a lifetime day!). And today seemed like the perfect day for their marriage.
The ceremony was unique, and very touching. Little R – their daughter – made a cute entrance and was just adorable through out it all. She didn’t last long after a few snacks, and was later found out to it in her stroller….adorable!!

Dion and Teneale, I wish you a wonderful life together, and I hope this new chapter is as great as the previous ones x

This little guy is the cutest ever! I have photographed him a few times now, and LOVE seeing him grow and learn.

His beautiful Mummy Roxi decided to get his first birthday celebrations photographed to make up a stunning album. What a lucky little man!

The cake is the hightlight at this age….mess!!

It’s the same old question over and over when you are pregnant “do you know what you are having”…..followed by the parents thinking “a human you twit!”. Heidi and David don’t know the sex of their soon to arrive baby, but apparently David has a strong feeling. I can’t wait to see if he is on the money ;) Personally I don’t try to guess as I always seem to be incorrect.

We met yesterday on a very showery sort of day at this farm/rustic location. I love doing outdoor maternity shoots, a lot of fun…even in the mud *yikes* Heidi was such a trooper and a wonderful pregnant model!

Looking forward to a great surprise soon guys x

Ok, at each wedding I get a bit gushy….I get to see two people confirm their love so how can I not? Well yesterday these guys tipped me over the edge! This was the most connected and emotional wedding ever! During the speaches I was wiping the tears away! To see how much one room of people love, honour and respect a couple was nothing short of a pleasure.

When Tara first contacted me for her wedding photographs I was so excited, Tara is a wonderful designer (Inhouse Designs) and has a true artistic flare for everything. Well, yesterday was a true testiment to her true flare. Every single details was glorious, vintage and stunning. The love between Tara and Mitchell was beautiful and honest. Oh how I loved their wedding!

From the family, to the flowers, to the tissues it was perfect in every possible way!

As you can see they are a stunning couple:

Rebecca said she had always wanted a dress to look like Cinderella, and my word this was the dress! It was exquisite, and just so stunning and detailed. Loved it! And then I got to see Rebecca and Jody’s little girl who was just a mini cinderella – and did such a great job as a flowergirl.

Saturday was a bizarre weather day, we had extreme heat, humidity, showers and then rainbows. We were lucky that each time any weather change happened it was to our advantage. We drove when it was showering, to Rebecca’s parents property and I was so happy we made the trek out there. It was just so beautiful, and there we were greeted with the said rainbow.

My job as a photographer (be it portrait or wedding) is to get my clients to see their images and relate to them, so locations are a very important piece of the puzzle for me! As I am sure you will see below Rebecca and Jody made the right choice with their locations:
