Have you had a session with me? Did you love your images, display them as art in your home? I know that my biggest advertisement is YOU, my clients who support and rave about me. I really do appreciate it, and wanted to give back to show you that I do.
This is how it works, you will receive personal referral cards (with your images on them) and you get to hand them to friends and family when telling them about your session and images. When they then book a session with Susan Wall Photography not only do they receive a complimentary 8×12 print but so do YOU! You can use the voucher for prints from a previous shoot, or save them for your next session. They can be handy to use around Mothers’ Day etc for gifts…..
Would you like some referral cards? Please contact me via email, or leave a comment on here and I’ll be in touch. Again, many thanks for your on going support, much appreciated!

I have a vision, it involves stranded, bare trees. Bird cages and sweet accessories.

Today was a new experience for me, my first set of newborn, baby twins! And wow it was just awesome. Though these two girls were just so placid, calm and sleepy. We were under the verandah of their family home, with the rain falling, so it was very peaceful (and nice and humid to keep babies warm and sleepy).
L and H have little string anklets on so that Mum and Dad can tell the difference, and I have to say it was very handy. They look so very much alike – in so many ways. At first I thought H was the one that had a more assertive nature, but then L let us know she didn’t want certain poses too!
It was just a total pleasure, Mum J is very easy going and was happy to let me play away. A special shout out to big brother H and Dad as they were great keeping us watered ;) Also thanks to R who came along and helped x
Here they are: two special identical twin girls – photographed by me – an identical twin myself!!

This stunning family was referred to me by the family below (have a look), and H and D let me know that baby E is a “champion” and is very placid and sleepy….well I was a little skeptical as you just never know when photographing babies. Um, I am happy to say that they were correct. E was a CHAMPION!! He slept the whole time, only grunting with each new pose. So, so adorable!!

Marissa owns a local day spa Essence and it was obvious how beautiful she is!!

Here is the little man, who over the past 4 weeks has been growing his milk tummy very well!

Hard to call this work, really. When I get to photograph a sleepy, fresh and totally precious newborn I really have a great time. Little Z was a star today, and so much fun! You may remember her beautiful Mummy and Daddy from the beach…..

Can you believe that T only had 7 days until Z was born…little did we know! I have been looking forward to this newborn shoot as with genes like this Z was bound to be amazing…correct – she was!

T and T, again it was nothing but a pleasure. You guys rock as people, parents and my new friends (told you it is all about socialising for me!)….

Happy Australia Day to all you Aussie’s out there. I hope today was wonderful and you enjoyed this great day in your own special way. We had a fantastic time with friends swimming, BBQ’ing and laughing.
This morning I had a great start to my Australia Day – little Miss M! She is only so new, and little (though older then most babies I photograph). After some milk and a warm hug from her Mummy she nodded off nicely and let us take some sweet shots.
D and H are really great parents, and very devoted to this beautiful little girl. She is very fortunate to have all this love (and rightly so!).

Yikes, January is going too fast and February has snuck up on me already!! I love February, it is my Mr’s birthday and our youngest daughter’s birthday a few days later, then followed by my niece’s birthday towards the end. I also have a number of clients reaching their first year of marriage :) Lots of celebrations, cakes and parties that month…yay!

Don’t you like to celebrate? I do. I love having friends over, having a few drinks, too much to eat *insert my favourite cheeses and dips here!* and just catching up for a good chat and a laugh.

For February, I want to offer you all a special deal, to help you get into that celebratory mood.

All bookings *held* during the month of February will receive their $100 booking fee as a bonus print credit. The booking fee is non-refundable (unless due to heavy rain) and to be paid upon booking your session. Please note that sessions are limited, and this offer is only valid for the month of February.

Quick, get out those diaries, book me in and get your family portrait organised now. With another school year only days off starting, we all know time is about to go past even quicker… sigh!

To those little clients of mine starting a new daycare/kindy/school all the best, have a fun time and remember to give your Mummy and Daddy lots of love as they will miss you.

As I like to show some images in most blog posts, here are my girls, doing their “yearly” poses. I want them to one day see how they have grown so much, so quickly:

I get nervous before each shoot, but today I was more so as I was so excited and really had a mind exploding with new ideas. When T let me know that her and her beautiful bump (and a beautiful husband!) wanted to have an outdoor maternity session at the beach I was ecstatic!

I got to the beach and was so happy to see an awesome amount of water in the creek, and also some wonderful gusty wind. I just had to wait for this hot couple and it all came together quickly! You have to agree that T has an amazingly beauitful bump, with only two weeks until her due date! I can’t wait to meet their little girl very soon, she is bound to be the most stunning and loved girl in town :)

Guys, you know you rocked it, it was such a great afternoon and I would so get in that creek and let the fish bite us again for more amazing images. All the best with the birth, see you soon! x

2010, already? wow isn’t it amazing?

Firstly a quick thank you for everyone’s patience. We have just had a week away for some much needed time out. Now back home I am refocused, re-energized and ready for the exciting year ahead. I know it is going to be huge and fun!

Today I had my first official 2010 shoot with this big, extended family. They were all together to celebrate a special birthday for their son/brother/uncle/brother-in-law. I really do have fun with big family groups, and there are always lots of laughs. Today was no exception! Thanks for a great start to the year guys, and I hope the party was fantastic.

Two people meet:

And together they have six children:

And (so far) some have then formed their own families:

Families stay close and you can see the love they share:

And the best thing about a big, extended family? The FUN you all have when you are all together:

Sunday was raining, and very overcast. It was also the Christening of S, who was *adorable* and loved his special teddy that was a gift to him from the Parish. Unfortunately we couldn’t do our planned family shoot due to the rain, but it meant that we had an awesome time yesterday together (and out of the rain!). And let me tell you for little people A and S were amazing, so well behaved and into the shoot, it was a total pleasure!
Wishing everyone a very happy new years, and please be safe. May 2010 be full of laughs, memories and adventures! Looking forward to a few adventures myself! Stay tuned….
