We had a second shoot with my sister while she was here, and this time Sandra decided to bare all. Well, why not? This is an amazing time of her life and might be her last pregnancy….so let’s celebrate!
Here she is, just so amazing….in so many ways!

I have photographed quite a number of bumps, and what I love about each and every one of them is that they are all so different!

Today photographing M and M’s bump I realised how cute this little one was! I mean M is 36 weeks, and looks *amazing*!!! It was a great way to kick off the week, and I am really excited to meet their new bundle in a very few, short weeks! All the best guys, see you soon!

Monday I received a call from Suri Creations asking if I could do a fashion shoot with a very short time frame. Luckily I was going to be going to a fun shoot (something I like to do from time to time for me!) and I had a model and another photographer who were ready to go anyways.

We went to a wonderful, rustic creation with our model (Ryley is also a great emerging photographer), an amazing gown and the designers. It was all systems are go. It was such a fun afternoon and something I would really adore to do again. So if you are a business out there wanting some fashion shots that stand out be sure to give me a call!

This gown was hand made, completely. Suri Creations spin the fleece and then hand crochet the gown together. These are one off gowns, and something that certainly will see a bride stand out from the crowd. From a photographer point of view, they are such a flattering, elegant and unique dress to photograph. Also very practical for some different sort of fashion like shots. Oh how I loved it!!

Anyway, thought I would share a few of the images (and will update you once I know what image makes the magazine):

I am catching up here now :)

Sunday afternoon was a busy yet fun afternoon. We met at our location and were like a huge conga line coming through the fence of the property.

You know that ad at the moment “from little things big things grow”? Well, here is my take on it:

From these little things (not little in size or meaning but in numbers – 2 people):

There were 3 children. 2 of whom now have their own families:

And all together now:

Isn’t it amazing how we can share our love with others around us? I really do love doing a few generations all at once, the chaos is fun and exciting. Looking forward to seeing you all soon!

When J let me know at her pre-consultation that her and B had been wanting a shoot on their family property I was so excited! This makes the shoot so much more about them, and about who they are!

Who are they? They are such a sweet family, so welcoming and gentle. It was such fun playing with little R while we waited for the gorgeous warm light to greet us. And yeah, you can see it sure did!

Hope you enjoy the little sneak peak J, chat to you soon x

Wow! What a beautiful bump, what a beautiful bump and what a beautiful afternoon!

Today was N and C’s maternity session, the afternoon was glorious and the time at the beach was fantastic! I am sure you will see from these images that little baby R is bound to be a cutie who happily snuggles up to Mummy and Daddy!

I can’t wait to hear the arrival news from you guys soon! Enjoy the last few weeks of your pregnancy, and see the 3 of you again soon x

Today it was {finally} time to meet beautiful little C! She was a touch past her “due date” which had her Mummy playing the waiting game and myself bursting to meet and photograph her! C wasn’t wanting to play for the first part of her shoot, but then after some warm, perfect milk there was no turning back. She was an absolute pleasure to photograph today!

Although newborns can be unpredictable and take a while to settle and pose the outcome is absolutely worth it!! C was 8 days – which is in the “prime” time I love of 6-10 days!! N, thank you so very much for being totally open to the poses and for enjoying your morning tea while I “played” with C. Hoping you feel it was really worth it! Can’t wait to meet up again soon!

3 little girls, oh it makes my heart ache thinking about how beautiful that is! Hmmm might need to stop those thoughts ;) I love babies all over, and a family full of girls (we are already) makes my soul sing!

Today I got to meet the newest little princess (born at only 5 pounds and 5 weeks early!) from this lovely family. You may recognise the 2 older girls from a shoot earlier in the year, and I am happy to say I got kisses today – awwww!!

K and C, it was a pleasure to see you again, and I loved every minute spent with your lovely precious girls! Have a great weekend and chat soon.

This morning I got to meet baby T, who was nothing short of a dream to photograph!! He came in smiled, goo’ed and gahh’ed and then nodded off for a nap. Sounds too easy doesn’t it? He is just a.d.o.r.a.b.l.e!!! Enjoy your little peak R, and chat to you soon x

I wonder if any of you have seen me lately and not been up to say hello? The town of Bundaberg has been buzzing with a few things going on that I (and my family too!) have been part of. It started with our local show, this is something that we look forward to every year. A dagwood dog (to make you feel so sick!); show bags and fireworks. This year I entered the local photography section as I always do, and gained a 2nd in the “colour portrait” section. My girls also went ahead and entered the competition for the first time. They did very well with some highly commended and a 2nd for G. Here are a few shots:

I also had the opportunity to “woman” 2 stalls lately. The first being at our “Wedding and Formal Expo” in May, and the other at a wonderful evening held at the Bundaberg CitiCoast Church, it was called “Glamour” and was basically a night of fun, pamper and cake ;) for women. It was so beautiful to see, and great to be part of! Be sure to try and go along next year ladies!! Here is my stall from the Expo:
