This week I got to see Sex in the City I and then II. Oh it was like being in fashion/shopping/woman heaven!! I don’t like shopping much though LOL

A great quote in the movie is when Carrie is explaining to her fiancee why the wedding guests numbers had blown out “it’s the dress”. Well Kelly yesterday didn’t let her dress dictate the wedding, but my Lord it could have! It was exquisite, and was so well suited to Kelly and her amazing self (in and out).

Kelly and Rian were married at the Anglican Church and supported by a very lovely and spunky crowd. We then went to some brand new locations (thanks to another local photographer for sharing one spot with me just this once as she loves this couple too!). We then finished the shoot at Kelly’s parents farm house where Kelly and Rian now live. It was mind blowing, seriously. When we needed cloud cover we got it, then the sun came out with all it’s glory and gave us an amazing warm sky with great clouds to boot.

Seriously, I dreamt of this wedding all night as I was still on a high!

Kelly and Rian, I wish you all the best with your lives now starting a new chapter. Maybe one day you will feel like you are married, like it is real ;) Enjoy Hawaii, have a drink for me ok?

*this is a long preview, as I loved way too many shots*

I have photographed quite a number of bumps, and what I love about each and every one of them is that they are all so different!

Today photographing M and M’s bump I realised how cute this little one was! I mean M is 36 weeks, and looks *amazing*!!! It was a great way to kick off the week, and I am really excited to meet their new bundle in a very few, short weeks! All the best guys, see you soon!

Monday I received a call from Suri Creations asking if I could do a fashion shoot with a very short time frame. Luckily I was going to be going to a fun shoot (something I like to do from time to time for me!) and I had a model and another photographer who were ready to go anyways.

We went to a wonderful, rustic creation with our model (Ryley is also a great emerging photographer), an amazing gown and the designers. It was all systems are go. It was such a fun afternoon and something I would really adore to do again. So if you are a business out there wanting some fashion shots that stand out be sure to give me a call!

This gown was hand made, completely. Suri Creations spin the fleece and then hand crochet the gown together. These are one off gowns, and something that certainly will see a bride stand out from the crowd. From a photographer point of view, they are such a flattering, elegant and unique dress to photograph. Also very practical for some different sort of fashion like shots. Oh how I loved it!!

Anyway, thought I would share a few of the images (and will update you once I know what image makes the magazine):

Today was a shoot I had been looking forward to for a little while now. When S contacted me she let me know that she wanted a different sort of feel for her family shoot, and she wanted some images of herself {ALONE}. I was so excited, and so happy that S decided to do this for herself.

As Mums we sometimes forget who we are – and after all we are beautiful, giving women. {That needs to be celebrated}. S and I enjoyed some champagne to start with, and a great chat – that was such a nice way to start our shoot today. Then we got shooting some beautiful portraits of such a beautiful woman. S your eyes are outstanding. I hope you had a lovely afternoon and to be honest the glorious day outside was truly worth missing to do this with you!! Can’t wait to see you soon!
