Maleny one day and Fraser Island the next – hard to take isn’t it? Morne and Catherine chose an island wedding, to celebrate their marriage together with beautiful friends and family (some family came a very long way to be part of the day!).

It is another place that is so romantic, and very destination like. The weather was kind (actually it was quite hot at times); and we got some stunning images at the end of the day. These guys were totally adorable, and naturals in front of the camera…..I bet Morne won’t agree. It was such fun having the afternoon and evening together in such a stunning location.

Maleny Manor is an amazing place to get married. It is intimate, peaceful and dreamy! Nicole and Ben chose this location for their beautiful wedding day. And my goodness – what a treat it was to go there and photograph them. The hinterland is just stunning, and to see a gorgeous couple in that hinterland; very much in love – hmmmm I did have a few little tears of excitement and love!

This wedding I photographed together with Stephen Cameron from Hybrid Vision Photography and it was great to work together and share the experience of what really was a standout wedding!

Thank you Ben and Nicole for allowing me to part of your day; I wish you all the very best for now and the future.

Today was a shoot that was a gift. Daddy (Ken) here is having a birthday very soon and Gemma decided to give him a family portrait session for his birthday. Such a great idea, as it is something that the whole family get to enjoy together – both the shoot and the end product. In fact, one day Ken’s great-great Grandchildren will marvel at these images! How amazing to know that….

We met at an interesting location and although we had a few too many bugs and bities to share the spot with the girls were such great sports.

Last weekend, New South Wales, and my sister-in-laws wedding! Here is just one image to share for now:

What can be more exciting then awaiting the birth of your first baby? That feeling of not knowing what being a parent will feel like, the anticipation of seeing who your child looks like…*sigh* just such an awesome time all round. And I have to say for each and every baby too!

The stunning Ian and Leeanne have only a few weeks left to answer all the above, and I am so excited to see their baby soon too! Here are a few of their images from today, what a beautiful family to be!

This Sunday is the annual Bundaberg Wedding Expo, and I know a number of brides-to-be are quite looking forward to going.

Just a quick message to put forward my apologies as I will be interstate at a wedding for the weekend, and unable to attend! Such a shame, but also quite exciting as I get to travel to a new location for this wedding.
I shall share once I can upon my return (all very formal isn’t it?).

And as I like to always share an image this is one that I *just* edited from Saturday. Oh I love seeing stunning girls like Belinda glowing on their wedding day!!

A wedding….what is it really about?

No, that’s not what it is all about. It has to be more then that. Though these things make your day more about you, they are nothing without these following things:

A breathtaking bride who is beyond excited to marry her best friend;

IMG_0001-2

a cute man who waits anxiously to see his stunning bride;

IMG_0210

and it’s about many shared firsts – first married kiss, first moments, firsts moments as Mr & Mrs.
IMG_0040-3

It is about two families, joining together through the love of a man and a woman;

IMG_0065-3

looking into your loved ones eyes and seeing the love, oozing out just for you.

And it is about starting a lifelong journey filled with moments, memories and love – sometimes eternity still isn’t enough is it?

Photographing a wedding is such an amazing experience, seeing the love and seeing the families supporting the newly married couple. Belinda and Cody your family are just beautiful, fun and awesome (I know you know this!). Thanks so very much for sharing the day with me, and for being you!

Have you had a session with me? Did you love your images, display them as art in your home? I know that my biggest advertisement is YOU, my clients who support and rave about me. I really do appreciate it, and wanted to give back to show you that I do.
This is how it works, you will receive personal referral cards (with your images on them) and you get to hand them to friends and family when telling them about your session and images. When they then book a session with Susan Wall Photography not only do they receive a complimentary 8×12 print but so do YOU! You can use the voucher for prints from a previous shoot, or save them for your next session. They can be handy to use around Mothers’ Day etc for gifts…..
Would you like some referral cards? Please contact me via email, or leave a comment on here and I’ll be in touch. Again, many thanks for your on going support, much appreciated!
