I am catching up here now
Sunday afternoon was a busy yet fun afternoon. We met at our location and were like a huge conga line coming through the fence of the property.
You know that ad at the moment “from little things big things grow”? Well, here is my take on it:
From these little things (not little in size or meaning but in numbers – 2 people):

There were 3 children. 2 of whom now have their own families:

And all together now:

Isn’t it amazing how we can share our love with others around us? I really do love doing a few generations all at once, the chaos is fun and exciting. Looking forward to seeing you all soon!

Saturday I got to drive to a town I had never been to (or heard of actually) until I met M and A. They live in a small town nearby where they got married. I loved how the whole town basically was at the wedding (this town was tiny). You could feel the community support and atmosphere.
For their special photographs we drove out to the forestry, where we released some beautiful butterflies with great symbolic meaning. The kids loved it!! I love going to new places, the excitement of a new adventure and new surrounds is really great. This town had real character to it, and some great backdrops. And of course when you are married in a place that is you, the images are all YOU! M was a bit scared when A asked her to go into the cattle yards with a HUGE bull and heifer – I was a tad scared too, but anything for a good photograph!
M and A, thanks for the opportunity to photograph your special day, and for the amazing experience.
So remember – “have camera; will travel!!”.

Yesterday afternoon I trotted off for a family shoot. This family were given a gift voucher from P’s work, such a nice gift to give!
When I arrived they were there looking a bit confused at the sight of our location (an abandoned house); but once we got inside it all started to happen. Little J (who is quite tall) was seriously the most well behaved, placid yet fun four year old little boy in the history of man kind! Anything we asked him to do he was happy to do. I think the fact that he could feel a play at the beach followed by a hotdog helped.
B, P and J; enjoy the next few weeks hanging out together and having fun. See you soon!

Yesterday saw the marriage of C & C, part of their ceremony was a reading of a really sweet yet funny song from “The Wedding Singer” – “I wanna grow old with you“.
Although such a cute little touch to their ceremony, it really is a strong point too. This to me is what I wish for you guys – grow old together and laugh hard. You are stunning inside and out and sharing part of your wedding day was such a pleasure. You all together were an awesome and fun bridal party (go you “attendants” LOL).
Here is a sneak peak for you guys, enjoy that romantic honeymoon and catch up soon! {These images are only primary edits as I am about to run to a family session; check back later for full edits and a few more images also!!}

And check this out for a cheeky wedding cake!

This time 9 years ago we were sitting around the table with my sister, my (now) brother-in-law and a friend. Each and every time I moved they all froze with excitement. I was overdue to have my 1st little baby, contracting mildly.
M is 9 tomorrow, had to comprehend how that happened. The fact that in less then 9 years time she might want to leave home overwhelms me! That is why each moment is precious right now!
In saying that I am going to be a little out of action over the next 2 weeks. I am still on mobile and email, but consultations (where possible) will be put on hold until the school holidays are over. I have a few very busy weeks ahead with shoots though, so the blog won’t be neglected at all! Although I obviously take my business very seriously nothing ever comes before my family – they are my rock!
I wanted to also take a moment to thank my wonderful clients – you know who you are – the ones that come up to me at the Donut Shop and have a good catch up, the ones that value their prints so much they save up and get them instead of a weekend away etc. You make me feel respected and valued as your photographer and new friend.
The next few months *fingers crossed*will see a massive announcement take place here on the blog. I can’t wait!! To those with school aged little people, have a fun school holidays and enjoy the break.

Seems I get every.single.beautiful. family to photograph. These guys were certainly no exception. Such a sweet, happy and fun family. A great way to start the week, and end the weekend.
Little L drove in the car with me (such a big girls privilege you know!) and told me some cute stories. I loved how for her school holidays she only wants some pizza and a swim at her Grandmothers – easy done Mum!!
We went to a few locations that have special memories and meaning to these guys, and it was all round fun!

And even though the others are all in black and white this one I feel has to be shown in colour. SWEET!

Ok, is there some sort of meeting at the hospital with these precious little ones? “Don’t sleep for Susan, we don’t want her to take our photograph”…….
This little precious just loves her Mummy and her milk…now for that I don’t blame her! K is a wonderful Mum, and this little poppet is loved by her whole family (while trying to settle L her Grandmother was busily cooking a meal for the family tonight – how beautiful!).
Although we didn’t end up with the sort of images I had in mind, we still got a few of lovely little L, and that’s the aim of the game! L and her extended family (the other side) are all getting together very soon for a huge family shoot. One that I am so excited about, and looking forward to!

That is how old Mr Too CUTE is today. He was one year old just yesterday, isn’t he adorable? He had the most inquisitive little expression when we first met, but he soon realised it was fun to eat the sand and play with his Mummy and Daddy.
Late afternoon at the beach, how it has a nice feel to it. The sun starts to set and you get a little breeze that comes freshly over you. Am I alone here friends? You know that feeling don’t you?
C and A, I hope these photographs are meaningful to you both, thanks for your time today – it was fantastic to meet you both. Hugs to little S.

An announcement to let all new and past clients know that I now offer the ease of EFTPOS facilities.
Phew, now you don’t need to worry about direct deposits/cash and I don’t need to line up at the bank anymore – HAPPY ME!!
If you are wishing to pay over the phone you are welcome to do so also.
Happy Fathers’ Day to all the Dads out there – may you be squashed with love!
