Editing this session has been so much fun. And I just had to share some more images from the day. I can’t wait for M & M to see the whole set of proofs!

Today was my Mum’s birthday (September is a busy birthday month around here!). We all went out for dinner which was really nice. I don’t think I look like my Mum at all – she has red hair even! Though not sure I look like Dad either LOL!!
Here is a shot of myself, Mum and the girls

Today was Mr A’s turn to be photographed. Well, I think his Daddy told him to be “naughty” as he sure didn’t want to work for the camera. He was so placid though which was lovely! He just wasn’t about to sleep – especially when we were all there desperately willing him to nod off! Can’t blame him though I don’t think I would want to nap with people staring at me!
Here is a sneak peak for K & D – we are going to meet up again for another attempt
– D no whispering in A’s ear this time!!

K I am really looking forward to meeting up with you both again. I am sure this time Mr A will be more into it all
Great to get to spend the afternoon with you anyways
Ok, I have been able to find out what entry was chosen as a finalist in the Centro Smile Competition. I actually have this image on a massive canvas here at home. My husband loved it
Here is the finalist image:

Today our beautiful Miss M turned 8. She has been counting down the days for WAY too long and was so very excited this morning. In fact – she was awake by 4:30am *yawn*!!
She had a great day at school and I took some icy poles up for the kids to share. She then had a “not birthday party” afternoon with a couple of friends over for afternoon tea.
We took her to Sizzlers’ for dinner -her choice – I think it was all about the ice cream! It is so hard to believe that all those so vivid memories of her 8 years ago were that long ago. Time flies, and my love grows for her each day. They aren’t ‘ours’ for that long are they?!?
Here is a photograph of her today, with her donut (we had that so she could blow a candle out – that has to be done you know!). Happy birthday chicken, I hope that being 8 is fun! xx

Today was so much fun. I got to spend the afternoon with M, M, S & A. We went to a park and then later off to a grassy field. The sun unfortunately didn’t obey us and hid behind clouds as it was setting – bummer! It was so nice to see the love these guys share – and to capture it was beautiful. Here is a tiny sneak peak:

I hope you all have a great time away guys – and be sure to share your amazing photographs with me (I am jealous remember!). I can’t wait to see you all again soon for your viewing.
After around 7 weeks wait today I got to photograph and meet Mr C. He wasn’t well after birth, but is getting there now and sooo cute!
Here he is with his family…his sister J loves to visit Suse – as she knows I have a dolls house here LOL

Thanks S, B, J and C for this morning. I hope you enjoy your sneak peak and chat to you soon
I shared a few months ago my excitement about being chosen to feature in the Australian Breastfeeding Associations Calendar – well the link is up and you can now purchase them. My photograph is JANUARY – be sure to have a look at it via this link:

I am quickly getting booked out for weekend sessions leading up to Christmas, please contact me asap if you are wanting your images before Christmas.
How great is spring? I can’t help but have a little skip-jump when I get up in the morning (especially after a sleep in LOL).
Here is the photograph that is in the calendar:

I was a bit excited today to receive an email letting me know that one of my photographs have been picked as a finalist in the Centro Smile Competition.
Apparently last year there were 30,000 entries – so it is a great competition to be part of. My entry will be on display at Centro in Hervey Bay – so have a look there if you are near by.
Once I have a look I will show you what photograph they chose from my entries
Have a wonderful weekend everyone x
Ok, well you all know by now that photography is my passion. I dream about it, I think about it and I see potential images all over the place. This year I decided to set myself the task of a 365 (well 366 for the leap year!). Basically this has seen me taking a photograph a day, editing it and putting it on a site (if I am able to get to the net when away that is!). It has been very difficult, but rewarding and fun at the same time. The challenge was when both my daughters started school – so I went to doing self portraits! Here are some I wanted to share with you all:
