Today whilst visiting my sister in NSW I got to take a few photographs of Miss R. She is such a bubbly and smiley little girl who loves the camera. Her smile is so beautiful. Here are a few to share with her Mummy and Daddy. Hope you enjoy J and M:

My beautiful little nephew J….We are currently in NSW, getting a good old dose of love from the little man. He is totally adorable, and has a very proud big sister too!
Here is a quick pic I took today (his “photoshoot” is planned for tomorrow all going to plan). Yippee!
I found out that B gave birth to a baby boy today – my friend did say it was the season for blue (she is expecting a boy in September!). Congratulations S, B and J on the safe arrival of baby C. I really look forward to photographing him soon! I am sure you all are having a wonderful time growing as a new family.

I have to share my excitement and total blissful feeling with you all. My sister gave birth 21st July, 2008 to a beautiful baby boy. He was 8pd 4oz (and a bit early too!); so he sure is a healthy and fit little guy! He has a beautiful name, that I totally adore and he is going to be the most loved and spoilt baby boy in Australia I can guarantee you!
Congratulations to D, S, Z and L on the arrival of little J. Look out for Aunty Sue-Sue as she can’t wait to see you all and have a big family hug! Keep an eye out for a massive lot of newbie pics friends!

Storyboards are a great way to make art from your photographs with one easy print of a number of photographs. My favourite size is 10*20 as it isn’t too big and also allows for 3 nice 5*7’s to be displayed. They show a story – and a theme at times of the subject. Here are two examples below. ‘S’ @ 37 weeks and Mr L with his Mum and Dad. Let me know what you all think of this great way of showing off your beautiful family:
When a Mum contacts me to let me know that she wants newborn photographs taken once the baby is born it is so important to answer “when to do the shoot?”. A lot of parents are surprised at how young and soon I like to photograph their babies. Of course, this depends on what it is the family are after in the way of shots. But newborn babies between 7-10 days are in that ‘zombie’ age. That age where they settle back to sleep easily (fingers crossed!); don’t seem to have as much hormonal rashes and they still curl a lot like how they were in the womb. So, if you want to know how old for shots like the following, the answer from little ol’ me is 7-10 days if possible. Enjoy – here is baby ‘B’ at 7 days old and too adorable also!
It seems like a lot of Mums are pregnant at the moment – that is fine by me as I adore pregnancy shoots! Such a special event to be part of. Today I had the pleasure of photographing S, B and J with their baby bump in there too (who isn’t too far off arriving either!). Thanks so much for a great and fun morning guys. Well, this is about me then:
1. I am claustrophobic, sometimes just the thought of being in a closed space can send me a bit hmm crazy. I am getting better it seems, I just don’t let myself think about it when I am such situations. I will never go scuba-diving again though – let me tell you that! Too much!!
2. My brothers and (twin) sister don’t call me by my name. Although we are aged from our late 20’s to 30’s we still call each other our childhood nicknames. I am DUDE – bizarre hey! Apparently my sister couldn’t say Suse
3. I have an extra bit of skin on my right ear – my cousin was blessed enough to get it too LOL
4. I once played the flute – I got close to sitting the exams to allow me to then teach it. But gave up once it became a chore instead of an enjoyment. I still have it. My DD M loves to play the violin while I attempt to remember the flute
5. I am determined to see the San Francisco bridge – I love seeing it all lit up in movies.
6. I met my husband when I was 12, not knowing his name or anything about him I told my friend I was going to marry him…..we were married 7 years later I was 19! Love him to bits.

I was so excited to know that whilst away I was still going to get the chance for a family photoshoot. My sister knows R, K and L and they were willing to have a photoshoot with me. It was a very quick shoot as L was really just wanting to play with all the other kids (can’t blame him there!) and we all stayed for a great BBQ on the beach…And I mean literally ON the beach. My BIL and DH dragged the BBQ onto the sand!!! It was a great evening and a heap of fun. Here is a sneak peek for you R and K – thanks again
